The root of this blog

Linux is a "branch" of operating systems that are more flexible in customizing its composition into different flavors.
Each of different flavors of "linuxes" is tuned differently in its own community and is formally released as a distribution (or, in short, distro) of linux.
It brings you different, fresh, and new experience on using the computer, if you used to stick with a particular operating system.
There are difficulties in making the linux "just work" as a personal desktop computer for newbies in linux, but in recent years,
there are more and more well-tuned distributions of linux that are quite suitable for easy use in our daily life.
Whether you are a linux user or not, I recommend to watch this video:
It describes how linux could possibly suck in many different ways and also what is amazing about the people in linux community.
At the end of the video, it shows that the rising trend on "Elementary OS" distribution is growing fast in recent years.
My experience of using this distribution is good. If you are new to linux and want to try a simple, elegant one, it is good to start from this distribution.
You need to learn how to download a disk image of a "Live CD" of this linux distribution, and preserve an area of your harddisk for install this system.
Then you can make a bootable CD/DVD or USB disk to try in "Live CD" mode, or go straight forward to install it.
You will gain more controls and be more responsible over the operation of your own operating system in "Linux World".
This is my first article here, I will share more things and wish there is a way - an open source way to run many amazing things!
